About Shantikunj

Shantikunj was established in 1971 by Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya and Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma. The campus spans several acres on the banks of the Ganga canal and is home to the main temple, a massive yagya shala, a sprawling library of Vedic literature, residential facilities, and lush gardens.

Every year, millions of Gayatri Pariwar devotees visit Shantikunj to attend spiritual training camps (Sanjivani Vidyapeeth), participate in mass yagya ceremonies, and seek guidance. The campus exudes a uniquely peaceful and uplifting atmosphere.
